Empowerment-Based Lecturer Professional Development at State Islamic Religious Universities

This study aims to find, analyze, and describe internal external factors that contribute the professional development of lecturers; alternative strategies priorities for empowerment-based lecturer at State Islamic Religious Universities. research is field using descriptive analytical method. Data was obtained from observations, literature studies, key informants, experts. The results this indicate that; First, ability IAIN Palopo's powerful able overcome its weaknesses in lecturers. In addition, Palopo has a reasonably high opportunity very responsive overcoming challenges Second, several were formulated, leading implementation an integration strategy through market penetration product (research, community service, article writing) collaboration with universities other institutions both domestically abroad, by empowering scientific consortiums lecturers international center.
